This is a one ton extended length cargo van (2’ longer than a standard “E” series Ford van) It has only 2 owners, (highway miles) the first owner was WalMart in Arkansas who used it at their headquarters to shuttle boxes of garments, (they sold it at 80K miles) and they, like the 2nd owner have maintained this van well above average. It idles and runs perfect, starts without fail (even if it sits for 2+ weeks in the cold)
It has never had any kind of leaks, its always been dry underneath. It has a toggle kill switch under the dash, so that when the van is in reverse it engages the “beep-beep-beep” alarm so backing into your customer’s driveway is always safe and professional, and notifies your prospect that you have arrived to give your estimate. It separates you and makes you look more committed to your trade. Included free is a Sirius satellite radio with a remote control, which is awesome since the van only comes with an AM/FM cassette!
Good sound from the factory speakers, however. Otherwise, for a cargo van, this one was bought by WalMart loaded.
Few vans like this have cruise control, power windows, power door locks, and tilt wheel. The engine is a “diehard” Triton V8 5.4 Liter, 4 speed Auto Transmission with overdrive button on the shifter, bucket seats, drivers side airbag, partial cage behind front seats, four wheel ABS, rubber matting, rear step bumper, remote keyless entry (2 sets included in perfect shape). Everything works, no repairs needed, buy and drive! The original Ford rims were replaced with 4 American Racing rims at a cost of $1166 (receipt provided) also added on were Deflecto extruded aluminum running boards at cost of $300 (receipt provided) and Putco polished stainless steel mudflaps at rear tires. However, the main attraction to this van is the elaborate custom made aluminum rack that is 23’ long and has no vertical supports since 8 heavy duty mounts secure it to the lip around the top of the van roof! If you carry scaffolding or many ladders, or long pipes or long vinyl siding, this rack is King! There are 8 System One winches that strap down ladders or cargo safely on the rack. There is a custom stow away ladder under the back of the rack that comes down to allow access to get you on top. If you are a plumber, electrician, painter, window and siding or roofing company, builder, remodeler, etc, put your message or company name on the permanent 23’ long billboard!
Great exposure, turns heads. I’ve had endless compliments from other trades people over the years about the engineering marvel of this one of a kind custom rack. See receipts for the rack which was $4366 alone.
The billboard signs were $700 for the pair. I am only selling due to retiring. If you love Nascar, bring the van to the races with 3 sheets of ¾” plywood on top fastened, add chairs, a cooler, and 2 to 4 people can have a party on top and advertise your message all at the same time! This van has never been hit, no body work ever of any kind (other than new paint on the front grille, and the 2 bumpers). The AutoCheck score is misleading because in late April of 2011 while driving on the highway here in Georgia a large piece of sharp steel flew off the back of a pickup truck I was following and it bounced under the front of my van, which punctured the radiator and the A/C condenser. No other damage of any kind occurred. The van had to be towed and repaired. See the receipt for $1035 for all new parts etc., that was completed to perfection, no issues, A/C and heat work like when the van was brand new. Also, all vinyl lettering and pics will be removed by the owner upon request from the buyer, except the (2) 23’ billboards, you would need to go over them or replace them at a place like Sign-a-Rama for example.
