Viper Motorcycle, a division of Viper Powersports has reportedly inked a deal with UK company, AMV Motorcycles in which AMV will become Viper’s sole distributor in the UK and Europe. This exclusive partnership represents the second deal made by Viper as of recent, to expand outside the American market.
According to an article on Automobile Distribution’s ABR section, Viper has not just coined a deal with AMV for European distribution of their new V-Twin engine “super cruiser”, but they have also made a separate deal for distribution in Dubai. With their new bike, which AMV praised as something appealing to the modern age of motorcycles, Viper has made the necessary moves to expand their operation overseas where the market is considerably more stable. With the engine coming from UK engineers Ilmor, AMV appears to be thrilled at the new deal as something to inspire the European consumers of a new age.
This deal means even more for Viper, who is determined to not just break into the world market, but establish their name as a world-wide leader in motorcycle manufacturing. The current and reigning champion in this category has been Harley-Davidson for some time. For Viper, who makes more bikes geared towards the Harley fashion instead of the speedster crotch-rockets like Kawasaki and Ducati, this is a stepping stone to bringing creating revenue overseas and ultimately strengthening their business in America.
